Y, a pesar de que el stylist René Furterer proclamaba en la década de los 60 que “un pelo bonito crece sobre un cuero cabelludo sano, al igual que una planta sobre un suelo fértil”, parece que al hombre no le hemos hecho demasiado caso hasta ahora, momento en el que tener esta parte de nuestro cuerpo sana se ha convertido en nuestro bien beauty más preciado. Exfoliantes específicos, bálsamos, aceite, preshampoo, sérums y esencias para aplicar entre lavados son algunos de los productos que han aparecido recientemente en el mercado para que vayas más allá del lavado.
Resulta que 47% de las mujeres nota su pelo debilitado y más fino (¿te sientes identificada?) y, según los expertos, esto podría tener mucho que ver precisamente con el cuero cabelludo. “Aquí es donde nace el pelo y es fundamental cuidarlo para tener una melena bonita y saludable. En él están todos los folículos pilosos que aseguran un buen suministro de nutrientes y oxígeno para un crecimiento capilar sano. También se encuentran todas las glándulas sebáceas que sintetizan la grasa protectora. Por lo tanto, si está en mal estado podría derivar en un crecimiento débil y frágil”, explica Carole Joubert, product manager de la marca René Furterer.
