At long last, our favourite TV stars will line the red carpet in their best get-up and celebrate at the National Television Awards for the first time since the pandemic started. It’s been a year unlike any other for TV, with a huge number of varied shows watched by many of us while stuck indoors! Now the voting longlist for this year’s National Television Awards has arrived, with the ceremony set to be screened live by ITV from The O2 arena in London on Thursday 9 September. The Masked Singer star Joel Dommett is hosting the evening for the first time.

‘It’s a huge honour to be hosting the NTAs! It still feels like someone has made a wonderful error,’ smiles Joel. ‘I can’t wait to celebrate the best stuff from what’s been a very weird year or so.’
