Having auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent back in January, Jon Courtenay faced a long journey to the final of the ITV show in October, where he was crowned the winner. And, this week, the comedy singer-songwriter will take to the stage at Blackpool’s Opera House Theatre to claim his prize of a coveted slot at the Royal Variety Performance 2020.
