Mark Wright finds dodgy dealings and Spanish intrigue in his family tree

Mark Wright says his grandad, Eddie, had an inkling they might have Italian roots, so when Mark explored his heritage for Who Do You Think You Are?, he was shocked to learn his ancestors were Spanish.

‘It’s a surprise because Spain is my second home,’ says Mark. ‘But doing the show is a love letter to my grandad. He’s always cared where our family is from but has never known for sure, so doing this is amazing. He’s loved hearing about it.’
