Glancing at a news report from the Congo on TV, widow Georgia catches a glimpse of someone who looks like her husband. But as he supposedly died three years earlier in a plane crash in Africa, it’s quite a shock!

That’s the setup of ITV’s drama The Widow, from the writers of The Missing and Baptiste, and it was just as mysterious for the cast, as they were left in the dark about the ending.
