Blackstar unveils what it says are the “world’s most advanced valve pedals”

We’ve never had it so good with gear, to the point where world-class modelling now lives inside the most budget of practice tools. But nothing gets a guitarist’s motor running like the sound of valves being pushed into overdrive. With three pedals in its Dept. 10 line-up (Boost, Dual Drive and Dual Distortion), Blackstar’s new range gives us true high-voltage (200V to be precise) operation from an ECC83 preamp valve, and in the case of the Dual pedals, some exciting digital features to boot.
