because it’s the plot of 2011 movie Hanna, starring Eric Bana, Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchett. Now, eight years on, the film has been turned into an eight-part series on Amazon Prime Video. ‘It’s a wonderful film but the director had to change certain things because of weather and budget, and there was a major part of the story about Hanna’s origins that didn’t make the cut,’ explains co-writer David Farr, who also wrote the film screenplay.
