Prepare to see our planet as never before this week when a stunning new documentary series brings us amazing footage of the world’s wildlife and human activity – all seen from hundreds of miles above the Earth’s surface.

Modern satellites are advanced enough to capture images of individual animals roaming our planet, helping scientists track endangered species across the globe.

Now, four-part series Earth from Space uses the same technology to provide a rare look at previously unknown penguin colonies in Antarctica, as well as the world’s largest beaver dam in Canada.
