Anxiety, boredom, frustration… we’ve probably all felt these emotions in recent times. Now, the realities of living in lockdown are explored in a new four-part ITV drama series.

Sheridan Smith, Robert Glenister, Eddie Marsan and Angela Griffin are among the cast in the 15-minute dramas.

The production team were forced to observe the strict rules of social distancing, so the actors and their families filmed the scenes themselves,.

‘We wanted to reflect what’s going on in people’s lives while they’re living it,’ says executive producer Jeff Pope, best known for writing true-life dramas including A Confession and Little Boy Blue. ‘Isolation Stories might be a bit rough around the edges, but this is new territory for drama.’
