Walking with Elephants Sunday, C4 HD, 9pm

British Army officer-turned explorer Levison Wood has become well known for his epic walking expeditions, which started when he became the first person to walk the length of the River Nile in 2014.

Since then, the intrepid traveller’s globetrotting adventures, which he has documented in several different TV series and books, have included trips to the Himalayas, Latin America and the Arabian peninsula.

The 38-year-old’s latest walking tour is one with a difference, since the pace and route are determined by some rather unusual travelling companions – migrating African elephants.
