Adventurer Lee Scoresby embarks on a perilous search to protect Lyra

Lee Scoresby is a man on a mission in BBC1’s epic fantasy drama His Dark Materials. The charming aeronaut, played by Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda, was separated from his young friend Lyra (Dafne Keen) at the end of the last run. Now he is desperate to find her and protect her from the threat of dark forces that are gathering after the prophecy that she could change the fate of the world.

First, he needs to find mysterious explorer Stanislaus Grumman, who knows about the subtle knife, a legendary weapon that could protect Lyra. But this week, as Lee arrives in a rough-and-ready town in his hunt for Grumman, his quest leads him into jeopardy.
