Bye-Bye, Love

Roonita Sen* and her ex-husband are still good friends. They separated after a decade-long marriage. These former college sweethearts felt that the magic had died and decided to part ways. Sen wanted to shift to Mumbai for her career while her husband was keen on staying back in Kolkata. “It’s a decision we made together—after all, we have always been good friends first, and we respected that,” says Sen, who’s in her mid-30s, and living in Mumbai at the moment. “We still meet for coffee if we are in the same city,” she adds.
