A man from Kirkby is changing the world one swim at a time. The initiative Paul Holliday launched has so far encouraged more than 6,000 people to take an early morning dip in the sea to help build their strength, reliance and willpower and to give their mental health a boost.
Paul has seen at first hand the struggles people from all walks of life can face and, with his business partner Michael Henderson, he formed The Human Excellence Project to help arm others to tackle those challenges.
Paul emigrated to Perth in Western Australia with his wife, Mel, and his two children in 2008 after their construction firm was a victim of the global financial crisis and virtually collapsed overnight.
