Building robots with your Raspberry Pi is incredibly popular and not a day goes by without a new robot being unleashed upon the world. Moving from a simple two-wheeled robot, often with a balancing caster at the head of the robot and powered by a single H-bridge motor controller, is often seen as daunting, because now there’s a requirement for more motors and another H-bridge.
The MotoZero controller provides an alternative and easy-to-use board. Designed primarily for the Pi Zero range of boards, the MotoZero can be used with other 40-pin GPIO Pi, but be mindful of the tight space between the motor 3 and 4 screw terminals and the USB and Ethernet ports.
