They’ve been friends since starring in Alias together in the early ’00s, and Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper appeared to be closer than ever when they hit the beach in Malibu with the actor’s adorable daughter, Lea De Seine, 3, on August 5.

The pair appeared relaxed in each other’s company, with Garner, 48, building sandcastles with the cute tot while Cooper, 45, watched on in his swim trunks.

The beach date comes amid reports the actress has split from her boyfriend of almost two years, John Miller. “They split up before Los Angeles went into lockdown,” a source told InTouch. “Jen and John remain on friendly terms so there’s a possibility they could rekindle their relationship in the future, but right now it’s over.”
