The stars are making up for lost time after rekindling their love

They’ve barely been back together for two months after calling off their engagement 17 years ago. But after rekindling their romance, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck aren’t messing around when it comes to making up for all their lost time together.

After letting the singer, 51, get away once already, Affleck is said to be already planning to get down on one knee “before the end of the year” as he “doesn’t want to lose her again”.

“The new relationship might technically only be a few weeks old, but in reality, they are picking up where they left off,” a source close to the couple told OK! magazine. “Jen and Ben have already wasted so much time. They are meant to be together and will make it official before the end of the year,” the insider adds of wedding plans.

While it might appear that the pair are moving rather quickly, the couple forged ahead with lightning speed during their first relationship, too. They got engaged after less than a year of dating in 2001, before calling off their September 2003 wedding due to “excessive media attention” and split four months later. This time around though, their friends believe it will be different as the pair have “matured” and there are no nasty surprises in store.
