IT couldn’t have been a more auspicious debut. While visiting the city of Bradford, England, on Jan. 15, Prince William and his wife, Catherine, looked happy and relaxed as they visited community projects and held a meet-and-greet at Town Hall. It was the first in a flurry of official outings since Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, stepped down as senior members of the royal family and decamped with their 9-month-old son, Archie, to Canada. And with the spotlight fully on them, William, 37, and Kate, 38, put on a royally good show.

“They’re warm, genuine and down-to-earth,” an insider tells Star. “And it’s clear that the public utterly adores them.”
