Arjun Rampal (now 45) was a golden boy of the modelling industry in his twenties. Not only was he Rohit Bal’s muse, but he was the go-to model for every fashion designer to walk the ramp for. Rampal at that time was engaged to fashion designer, Malini Ramani (daughter of Bina and niece of Kartar Lalwani who heads the multi-billion vitabiotic empire.) However, this affair did not last long and Arjun moved ahead with one of the top models of the ‘80s, Mehr Jesia. The chemistry between the two was sizzling. Although their marriage was subject to plenty of ups and downs, it seemed like they settled down amicably with their two daughters by resolving their differences with each other. That was another big reason why the announcement of their divorce created many ripples among the film fraternity and sent Bollywood into a tailspin.
