Waluscha De sousa 'I'm Never Satiated.'

From being a supermodel to an actor, how has your journey been? I have a long way to go and lots that I want to achieve. I’m never satiated. As a model, I enjoyed the thrill of walking down the ramp wearing stunning creations designed by the best. It was a privilege that I enjoyed. Acting has always been my passion and a natural progression. I am looking forward to doing different kinds of cinema. I’m all pumped and very excited to see where this journey takes me.

How did you bag a role in the film Fan?

Fan just happened… I guess it was destiny. I casually went across to meet Shanoo Sharma to introduce myself. I had no idea about the existence of this script nor did Shanoo say anything. And five minutes into the meeting, she told me that she had something for me. She sent me across to Yash Raj to meet director Maneesh Sharma. And while this was happening, I didn’t know what was awaiting me. And just after I spoke to Maneesh, he offered me the role and I got to know that it was opposite Shahrukh Khan.

How was your experience of sharing screen space with shahrukh Khan in Fan?

I have to confess that my first day on the set was very intimidating. I had to wear a satin gown and run into his arms. That was my first shot in the film. I was nervous and petrified. The pressure to get it right and not keep him waiting for an “ok take” was immense. But once he was on sets, he made me feel comfortable instantly, made me feel like he had all the time in the world and I didn’t have to rush.

You’ll next be seen in the film Time To Dance. What is your role in the film like and can you relate to your character?
