|STARDUST OCTOBER 2016
His story is the one we get to see in films. Hailing from a small town in Madhya Pradesh with no family business, he came in with just a dream in his eyes to make it big in Bollywood, and sustain in this big bad world of the Hindi film industry. GAURAV ARORA tells all in a candid conversation with Aashna Bhatt.

A regular gloomy day at work, and the thought that the weekend was still three days away, added to the laziness within me. The interview ahead had me switch to scepticism and it was an unsettling feeling I gave in to. The person I was to interview had just one film in his bag which failed gravely, and the other film could make or break his future. With these thoughts running in my mind, and battling traffic and rains, I reached Mehboob Studios, to meet Gaurav Arora for our tête-à-tête.
Gaurav was busy with channel interviews taking place, so I killed time as I strolled down the eerie lanes of the studio, thinking how ironic it was that my interview was to do with a horror film, in a place like Mehboob Studios. An hour later, sporting a grey t-shirt and black jeans teamed with a blue blazer and brown shoes (in other words, sticking to the classic casual look), and a deprecatory smile, Gaurav walked towards me with an apology.
