Your journey in the film industry has had a lot of twists ‘n’ turns, when you look back how would you like to describe your journey?

My journey in the film industry has been of a lot of twists ‘n’ turns and yet, I would call it exciting, if it was just linear, it would be boring. I saw many ups and downs, success, failures but I’m still going strong so what I think matters the most is whether you can survive in this big ocean or not. Once, a big superstar in the business had told me that this is a big ocean and to swim here is the most difficult thing but I feel that I’ve been swimming and surviving, and doing the best of work with some of the most celebrated names. Although I’ve not reached the pinnacle of my career yet, there is still a long way to go, my journey is continuing and that’s what matters.

Could you tell us about your OTT series ‘Bestseller’?

‘Bestseller’, is a psychological thriller. It’s an adaptation of a book by ‘Ravi Subramaniam’. I play the central character of Tahir Wazir who’s a novelist and he is this flamboyant and assertive person who is very successful and then a stranger comes into his life and changes it forever.
