YOGURT SLASHES LUNG CANCER RISK!

EATING a cup of yogurt daily can lower your risk of lung cancer by nearly 20 percent, according to new research from Vanderbilt University. What’s more, people who combine their yogurt intake with a high-fiber diet lower their risk by an additional 10 percent. Researchers believe the probiotics in yogurt have cancer-fighting properties and said the benefits of dairy products need to be reconsidered.

GOOD news for cat lovers! They can’t drive your kids crazy — at least not clinically. There had been a widely held belief that parasites in cat feces might be linked to schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other mental health woes. But a NEW study reports that dog won’t hunt. “There is no evidence that cats pose a risk to children’s mental health,” said Dr. Francesca Solmi of University College London Psychiatry, author of the new study, which tracked 5,000 kids born in the 1990s whose moms had cats during their pregnancies.
