The five-year gag agreement Katie reportedly signed in their divorce – which is believed to have prevented her from publicly speaking about the actor, as well as going public with any new romances – comes to an end this June. And NW has learnt that as soon as it does, Katie plans to break her silence in a major way – by releasing a bombshell memoir that will lift the lid on her life as the third Mrs Tom Cruise. Juicy!

And a source tells NW that she’s been offered close to $13 million for her secrets!

“In the last few years I’ve become more confident,” Katie, 38, admits. “I’ve been feeling inspired to put my point of view out there.”

The truth at last!

According to a publishing insider, Katie’s decided to reveal all in her book – which we’re told has the working title Breaking Free – so she can put the Tom, er, chapter behind her and finally move on.

“She used to think she could get by without saying anything, but she needs closure,” NW’s bookworm claims – and especially for the sake of the former couple’s daughter Suri.

“My child is the most important person to me,” says Katie, who wants Suri to have a “stable, innocent childhood”.
