Victoria: 'I Refuse To Slow Down'

She manages the entire Beckham clan seamlessly, but David’s keen for Vic to take some time off…

We don’t know how Victoria Beckham does it. One minute she’s showcasing a new launch in Shanghai, the next she’s touching down in Africa for a safari holiday with her family. But despite VB having undisputed incredible multitasking skills, one person who’s said to wish she would slow down is husband David – who’s reportedly begging Vic to take even more time out.

According to a source speaking exclusively to Look, David,42, is desperate to have some quality time with 43-year-old Victoria, especially as their eighteenth wedding anniversary is fast approaching on 4 July.

‘David’s asked Vic to schedule in some downtime,’ reveals a close friend. ‘For Vic, family does come first, but she believes she can do it all. David knows she’s good at managing everything, but doesn’t want her to burn out. However, Victoria’s determined to keep pushing on with her career – in the next six months alone she’ll be out of the country at least 15 times.’
