Who/what inspires you?
“As an Army family, we’ve always had the good fortune to travel a lot. During these trips, I learnt to observe and absorb everything around me and that learning continues till date. Beautiful new cultures, architecture and nature inspire me.”
How has your mother, Sarita, influenced you?
“My mother has always been very passionate about art and textiles. Growing up, I saw her beautify everything around her. Her flower arrangements at home were phenomenal! She has influenced who I am and how I approach my work and life. A superwoman in the the truest sense, she taught me to never give up.”
Tell us briefly about your creative process…
“I believe that everything begins with a single thought – that eureka moment – and this is what I follow in my creative process as well. We put that one thought, one idea into play… and brainstorm upon it.”
Over the last two decades, the company has tried to revive the art of Indian needlework, translated into beautiful craft-intensive collections with global inspirations…
