What were the significant milestones that have shaped REHAU into one of the leading furniture building solutions providers?
To begin, we have always been known as the pioneers for edge bands in the country. REHAU was the first brand to introduce this product to the Indian market, and it has been great for me to be at the helm of affairs when especially at a point where we’ve reached a milestone of celebrating 25 years of REHAU in India. The journey started in 1997 when we set up our first sales office in the country, and that was the beginning of edge bands being introduced in the country. A few years later, we established our first plant, and in 2017, we set up the second, which was focused, specifically, on furniture solutions. In the span of 20 years, we have doubled the production capacity of this product in alignment with the growing demand and market needs. Many people have now realised the benefits of using this product, and several others have discovered the advantage in manufacturing and selling it. But despite the growing competition, the great news is that we continue to be market leaders for this product.

Today, we have three plants – two focused on furniture solutions and one focused on industrial solutions that cater to the appliance industry by providing products like gaskets, profiles, etc.
We have also grown to four offices across the country, several warehousing facilities, 600+ OEMs and collaborating with 300+ dealers and a flourishing retail market of retail customers.
