Experiment with an edgy take on menswear for your wedding day with FENDI’s latest Spring showcase.

Duality of good and evil, yin and yang— the play between these opposite ends of the spectrum was the central theme of FENDI’s SS’19 Menswear showcase. A severed hand, tiny demons, FF-tongued snakes, cards and dice made appearances as a slew of FENDI-clad men marched down a neon-red runway. This season, Silvia Venturini Fendi, creative director for FENDI menswear, collaborated with artist Nico Vascellari to create playful anagrams and mythological narratives via pieces that weren’t necessarily what they seemed. What appeared to be leather was in fact paper, and what appeared to be paper was actually leather. In a tête-à-tête with Venturini Fendi, we explore the nuances of a collection that is equal parts classic and wicked.
