Honda showcased a variety of mobility, robotics, energy management, and connected concepts at CES 2019 that have the potential to create a cleaner, safer, and more convenient world.
The company featured demonstrations of in-vehicle connected services in the all-new 2019 Honda Passport, and provided a first look at real-world testing of the off-road Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle, a new category of vehicle dreamed up by Honda engineers.
Honda Innovations, the Silicon Valley arm of Honda R&D, will debut new collaborations with startups and major brand partners through its open innovation programmes, Honda Developer Studio and Honda Xcelerator. Both serve as catalysts to discover and experiment with new technologies and concepts, further emphasizing Honda’s commitment to open innovation.

Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle: Increasing work efficiency
Honda showed real-world testing scenarios of the Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle, a prototype off-road vehicle that is a combination of Honda’s all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and emerging advanced autonomous technology. It was designed by Honda R&D Americas to bring efficiencies and increased safety to public, commercial, and consumer enterprises, such as construction, agriculture, search and rescue and firefighting. The Autonomous Work Vehicle is based on Honda’s proven ATV chassis, which has a 30-year history of accessing hard-to-reach locations with its rugged four-wheel drive system. The vehicle features GPS and sensor based autonomy capable of guiding the unit in almost any environment; a rail accessory mount system for limitless accessories and attachments; and onboard power plug-ins.

BMW iX E-Car Achieves 5-Stars In Euro NCAP Test
The BMW iX premium electric car which has been launched in India, has achieved five-star ratings in all test categories of the Euro NCAP crash test. In the assessment of adult occupant protection, the testers highlighted among other features the effectiveness of the new interactive airbag between the driver and front passenger seats, which provides additional protection against injury in the event of a side collision. Child safety in the rear of the BMW iX was also given the highest possible score for both frontal and side collisions.

TVS APACHE RTR 200 4V WITH DRL HEADLAMP AT ₹1.33 LAKH ONWARD
TVS Motor Company has introduced an updated 2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle. The motorcycle is equipped with a new headlamp and signature Daytime Running Lamp (DRL), which continues to glow, changing its stance to a Front Position Lamp (FPL) that simultaneously functions with low and high beams.

Omega M1KA, India's 1st e- small commercial vehicle launched
Omega Seiki Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (OSM), part of the Anglian Omega Group unveiled India’s first electric small commercial vehicle (SCV)M1KA. Omega Seiki Mobility will start accepting bookings of the vehicle from Quarter 4 of 2021 i.e between October to December 2021.
