What is better than a single cylinder two stroke? Well, a three cylinder two-stroke! And Kawasaki felt the same way when it launched the now-iconic H2 in 1972.

Based on the 500cc H1 Mach 3, the new H2 now displaced 750cc and straight away bagged a new production motorcycle record by covering quarter of a mile in 11.95 seconds at a blistering 186 kph in the very same year it was launched. If this didn’t define the term ‘off to a flying start’, then we wouldn’t know what else would.
