Dee Zee’s new tailgate cutting board is perfect for overlanding
During the 2020 Overland Adventure in Arizona, the guys from Dee Zee pulled us aside and said they had a prototype part that was perfect for our ’20 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 SR (which is also outfitted with Dee Zee’s Bed Rack system). The part: a prototype tailgate cutting board cover made from food-grade, high-density polyethylene.
We were ecstatic. Our Tacoma’s factory tailgate, with its fiber-reinforced plastic surface, sure left something to be desired—namely a flat surface good for meal prep or repairs and cupholders for beverages. This still-unnamed part from Dee Zee does just that, simply and easily. Check out our 5-minute campsite install of the product on our third-gen Tacoma.

JEEP OR BLAZER BUILDING
I was hoping to pick your brain as to a couple of different builds. I have a '19 Jeep Wrangler JL and a '74 Chevy Blazer. I'm a little baffled as to what to focus on. The '74 full convertible Blazer is my dream vehicle. She's been a long build and now I am thinking of focusing my energy on my wife's '19 Jeep JL. I recently joined a Jeep club and have been going off-road with a few guys. I'm shopping around for lift kits. Would you suggest that my time be spent and focused on the Blazer or enjoy the Jeep? I really can't do both.
