First drive of 592bhp supercar at Festival of Speed

GOODWOOD is inextricably linked to McLaren’s history. The Bruce McLaren Racing Team used the Sussex motor circuit throughout the sixties to develop racing cars, and the Kiwi lost his life while testing at the track in June 1970. So driving a brand new McLaren that has been launched at Goodwood is an extremely special experience.

This time, though, it’s a road car, and Auto Express was the first to drive the new 600LT up the famous hill at last week’s Festival of Speed.
