Street Wired, But ADV Ready!

With all the hype surrounding the release of the Honda Africa Twin last year, many overlooked that in 2016 Honda also brought the Crosstourer to the U.S., where they branded it the VFR1200X. The VFR1200X has sharp adventure bike styling sure to turn heads wherever it goes. The 1237cc V4 power plant, attached to either a conventional six-speed manual transmission or Honda’s automatic DCT, brings the bike to life and will instantly put a smile on your face when you crack the throttle.

Compared to other 1200cc adventure bikes, it’s a little on the heavy side, but the VFR is definitely geared toward spending more time on the street than o road. Keep in mind that this bike is not designed to hang with the likes of the Honda Africa Twin or the KTM 1190 Adventure R. With that said, spoon on a more dirt-bias tire and the bike would have no problem tackling gravel and dirt roads with ease.
