Over the years since P&KG magazine launched, I have written loads of articles for them about paint stuff, music, vehicles and events. I have had my work shown alongside various articles by other people, but except for an editorial mention once, there has never been anything actually written about me. Now, due to the unusual circumstances of the cancellation of the summer of 2020, I have free time and the magazine needs an extra article! How about that, lol! Serendipity rides again.

When I was growing up in New Zealand pretty much everyone I knew owned an old Brit or American car or an old Brit bike. I painted my boyfriend’s 48 Ford truck purple and lime green, as one does at age 14! Around the same time I saw my first Harley (a picture in a magazine) and right there I lost the final battle for any hope of a respectable ‘normal’ life.
