I am Vidhie Mukerjea, 19-year-old daughter of Peter and Indrani Mukerjea. A lot has happened to me in the past few years.

(Note: Indrani Mukerjea has allegedly been accused of killing her daughter Sheena Bora. Peter Mukerjea too is in jail as he has allegedly been accused of being in cohorts with Indrani in the act. The case is still subjudice.)

But I don’t want to say too much about the insides of the case as I don’t know too much anyway. All I can talk about is: Me and how I’m coping.

To be honest, it’s been rather hard… More so because I’m right in the middle of everything. In the beginning, I just spiralled out – it was too shocking and I just couldn’t handle things. Practically overnight, the world under my feet had collapsed. But it was a letter from my dad Peter that calmed me down. And today, I know what I need to do and where my life is going.

CHILDHOOD & GROWING UP

At the age of 3, I moved from Kolkata to Mumbai with my mother Indrani, after my real father Sanjeev and she got divorced.
