This is the only magazine devoted entirely to sports and sports related news in Tamil. VILAIYATTUULAGAM was started in a small way18 years back but now the readership has gone up by more than TEN lakhs.
We cover not only popular international and national sports events but we give a lot of importance to state level and district level sports events in Tamil nadu which is one of the main reasons for our magazine being popular with school and college going community of Tamil nadu
We cover many informative topics such as opportunities in Education and in jobs for the fledgling sports persons, sports,edu., dept news and photos,training camps for the young sportsmen, and information regarding government funded sports projects for the young sports aspirants. Our topics, regularly on Yoga,karate,exercise,bodybuilding,gym,fitness and other health tips for the young sports persons and students are appreciated by all.
Considering the quality and the usefulness of the topics covered by us the Tamil nadu Government has issued an Order (Enclosed herewith) to all libraries in Tamil nadu to subscribe our magazine “VILAIYATTUULAGAM”. (Tamil nadu government Order no: 56,E3,1-3-2000 ) and now our magazine is subscribed by all the libraries in Tamil nadu and we proudly say that ours is the only magazine which has the distinction of being patronized by the Government of Tamil nadu itself.
Our coverage of state level and district level inter colleges and inter school sports events has been widely appreciated by many college authorities and students of Tamil nadu.
