This month its all-about the home-grown specials that we put to the test both on the track as well as off-road. The much anticipated Hero Xpulse was launched and we had loads of fun riding it on a dirt-track. Also launched was the Hero Xtreme 200S and we put on our racing suit as we went corner carving around the BIC with it. We also sampled the new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 on the BIC.
Hero Xpulse 200
Years of speculation and waiting later, we finally got our hands on the Hero Xpulse 200. We put the entry-level ADV to the test and even spent some time with the touring focused Xpulse 200 T.
Hero Xtreme 200 S
We put down some hot laps on the BIC astride Hero’s fully faired Xtreme – the spiritual successor to the cult icon – the Karizma.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250
The crowd favourite Gixxer SF gets a big brother and we went all guns blazing with it on the track. How does it tackle the corners on the BIC?
R 1250 GS and R 1250 RT
You won’t be left longing for the big guns either. We rode the boxer twins from BMW, the R 1250 GS and R 1250 RT through some testing roads and trails to find out for ourselves if the 1250s have improved upon the 1200s drastically.
Suzuki Katana
We take the new Suzuki Katana for a spin in Japan and take a look into the past to understand the Katana’s legendary status.
TRK 502X vs Versys-X 300
Not to keep the adventure junkies hanging, we pit the Benelli TRK 502X against the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 as we ride through our favourite off-road sections.
On top of the world
Our columnist and mountain man Vijay Parmar, with a bunch of off-road aficionados, do something no bike has ever done before and take eleven RE Himalayans to Karakoram.
And a whole lot more!
We learn the ins and outs of servicing a Harley-Davidson from the experts and reviewed the Trek FX 3 cycle. That aside, all the happenings from the MotoGP world, updates from the riding community, great gear for every kind of rider.
