The September 2018 edition of Legal Notes focuses on arbitration and the difficulties India faces in becoming a hub of arbitration. Today, most corporate entities and multinational corporations do not take their cases to court. Instead they fly off to Singapore or London for arbitration which is a less time-consuming and cheaper option. What do we lack and why do international arbitration cases not come to India?
