While the world is just trying to combat COVID-19, the business world is struggling to stay optimistic in this pandemic. The world is learning to roll with the punches. Many entrepreneurs have grabbed this time as an opportunity to introduce a social enterprise that has a dual vision of social impact and financial gain. With the increasing challenges associated with this pandemic, there is no dearth of innovative entrepreneurs who have stepped up to help others and their businesses innovatively.
To ensure that such innovations can last as a viable and long-term business - is a matter of debate.
While India boasts of several accelerators, incubators, and investors, the ecosystem needs to be strengthened to catapult the survival rate of start-ups, spur growth, design and build profitable firms.
India expects to bounce back with an 8.8 per cent growth graph in 2021. It will regain the flag of the fastest-growing emerging economy, surpassing China’s expected growth rate of 8.2 per cent – as per the IMF.
In these circumstances, entrepreneurial commitment with new innovative e-commerce and technology initiatives are going to become a new level of revolution. With the Modi Government drive “Vocal for Local” it’s time to develop a new saga of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, and this is pushing leaders beyond their comfort zone.
This issue covers the new innovative and technological ways, attributes, and leaderships that are going to create a new entrepreneurial ecosystem that is fearless, viable, and sustainable.
Hopefully, this edition will work for many SMEs and Startups as an inspiring guide on how to thrive and grow their business while combating pandemic without spending a fortune.
