Canadian rising designer star Abiola Akinsiku and her Parisienne & African-influenced line Precious Threads had her first fall & winter 2019 collection presented under the personally significant title The Fashionable Escape. Our Fashion & Design Editor Claris Manglicmot had a photo essay on Saudi Arabian designer Zahra Mirjan and an interview with Filipino fashion photographer Arvin Cruz. We return to African to introduce Botswanan designer Onty Kan and her line FG Couture, featuring a photo shoot with the Publisher! We also have two wrap up articles on the premiere of W'AT ABOWT US, our first documentary under Shelland House of Films.
