This month we ask you to accompany us in learning about a special journey;
in fact; a truly unique journey in the history of mankind. It is a journey that
Allah (SWT) Himself planned for His last messenger - the journey of Isra’ and
Meeraj - a journey through the 7 heavens.

Everything about this journey makes it wondrous and extraordinary the
planner, the traveler, the mode of travel, the guide, the people they
encountered along the way, the sights they saw, the final destination and the
gift that the Prophet (SAW) brought back from this journey - the gift of Salah.

Dear children, the 5 daily prayers,which we often think of as a chore or a job
or a duty was actually given as a gift by Allah (SWT) to the prophet (SAW)
on the seventh heaven itself. How amazing is that? And that’s what Salah
should be for us too - a chance to talk and connect with Allah (SWT) and to
feel His love and closeness to us. When we experience Allah’s love we will
start to enjoy our Salah and treasure this precious gift.
