Summer and warmer weather are just around the corner, and that means Australians will be looking to get outdoors. Swimming pools will have covers removed, barbeques will be cleaned and made ready for service, and across the country, families will look at the condition of their deck and consider maintenance and repair. This issue we’ve had a look at some of the basics of building a deck, and there’s a few good tips there, even for professionals. Fitting neatly alongside the process and equipment involved in deck building, We’ve also grabbed hold of an AEG 18-volt cordless framing nailer and given it a crack. Meanwhile, another thought as the weather warms is possible leisure pursuits. Strictly speaking, looking at Kincrome’s association with Yamaha’s pro motocross and supercross outfit isn’t a leisure pursuit, but we can’t help but think how awesome it’d be to roost around on one of thoseincredible YZ-Fs this summer. Or, possibly even better – depending on your outlook – to throw a leg over the unbelievable new Harley Pan America 1250 Special. Plus all the usual regulars.
