Just like life, hot rodding has its highs and lows. We celebrate them all in Cruzin, be it slammed pickups like Rob Veitch’s 1959 Chevy, or raked Model A’s like Al Fountain’s coupe, that both feature on the cover of this edition. But wait, there’s more!
Joe Rippon is reliving his childhood through his cars, and his stunning 1934 Ford coupe is another star car in this issue. You’ll appreciate both the journey and the end result. David james’ 1940 Ford from South Australia is as neat as a pin without blowing the budget, and the custom crew will dig Steve Ide’s chopped 1950 Ford.
We also squeeze in our visit to the Rich River Rod Run earlier this year, along with a fly-by at Andy’s Restorations in Sydney. Last but certainly not least, we pay tribute to the late Don Orosco, lover of speed and all things hot rod.
