Pipeline plan to be decided after outcry over schools, trees and noise

The pipeline will run from the Havant Thicket Reservoir to the north of Middle Park Way to Bedhampton Pumping Station, Meyrick Road, Havant.

The proposed route and its impact have sparked 29 letters of objection and one in support to Havant Borough Council during the public consultation period.

Portsmouth Water has responded to the objections and made some changes to its proposals, including taking some works out of school term time and using hoardings to block noise around a school.
