The appointments take the number of executives at the MD level in New York-based Warburg's India team to eight.

The PE firm has named Hemant Mundra and Swapnil Sinha as MDs, according to social media posts. Both were previously principals at Warburg. They join Narendra Ostawal, Anish Saraf, Viraj Sawhney, Vikram Chogle, Sandeel Kagzi and Himanshu Nema as MDs in the firm's Mumbai office. Ostawal, who joined Warburg in 2007, is the firm's India head of PE.
