Life for delivery murderer who is also suspect in killing of 18-yr-old
A TAKEAWAY delivery driver who claimed that "shooting people was part of his job" was sentenced to life in prison yesterday for the murder of a teenager on his own doorstep.
The court heard during the sentence hearing that Earl McKevitt told gardai that he shot 19-year-old Conor O'Brien once in the chest after making an error during the delivery, having failed to read the instructions on the docket.
The Irish Mirror can also reveal that McKevitt is a suspect in the murder of a man who was shot dead in 2007 after being falsely accused of rape.
