A GRIEVING mum whose son was killed in a triple crash tragedy says their family will 'never forgive' the careless driver as he was sentenced to two years in jail.

- By JASPREET KAUR News Reporter

Harry Purcell was 17 when he was fatally injured in a 'completely unavoidable' crash near Shipston in Warwickshire.

Harry Purcell died alongside Tilly Seccombe and Frank Wormald in April 2023 when Edward Spencer crashed his Ford Fiesta into a Fiat 500 on Campden Road. A woman and two young children also sustained life-changing injuries.

'Inexperienced' Spencer, 19, who passed his driving test six weeks before the tragedy, pleaded guilty to three counts of causing death by careless driving and three counts of causing serious injury by careless driving. He was sentenced to two years in jail at Warwick Crown Court.
