Korean-American chef Judy Joo serves up a tasty recipe from her new cookbook

“I'm completely obsessed with this simple Korean street toast,” chef Judy Joo tells Us of the hearty breakfast sandwich featured in her latest cookbook, K-Quick: Korean Food in 30 Minutes or Less. “Each layer has me swooning.
The omelet, generously filled with crunchy veggies, feels almost virtuous until it's decadently draped in salty folds of ham and salami.
A blanket of molten Monterey Jack cheese follows with a tangy slathering of ketchup mingled with creamy mayo. This whole deliciousness is then nuzzled between two thick, pillowy slices of buttery, crispy pan-fried milk bread. It's a breakfast of champions that hits all the buttons.”
