Frail Julia's TRAGIC Health Crisis!

Hollywood treasure Julia Roberts has been in the spotlight for decades – but she’s suffering a hidden health crisis that’s only now spilling into the open.

With pictures recently emerging of the pretty woman looking frail and in pain, and shock reports that her vision is failing, Julia can reportedly no longer ignore the effects of the spinal meningitis she contracted in the ’80s…

“Julia is aware meningitis can cause vision loss, and she’s got trouble seeing straight as it is,” an insider told the National Enquirer.

“She’s clinically blind in one eye, and she’s been gradually losing her sight in her other good eye. Her worst nightmare is never being able to see her kids again.”

The 51-year-old actress is also said to be dealing with chronic head and neck pain caused by meningitis, which is an inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

“Friends are not only afraid for her eyesight – they’re worried for her overall health and are terrified she is suffering a life-threatening recurrence,” said the spy. “Julia’s dropped an extreme amount of weight in recent months, and looks thin and gaunt. She complains of crippling migraines and back and neck pain that could very well be related to the disease – and it seems to only be getting worse.”
