Love is eternal, pure, sacred and serene. Love knows no barriers. It is above all social division like caste, creed, religion, colour and language. Bhaktimarga or the ‘path of love’ is the earliest way to find God. Besides, since time immemorial, love has often been the main theme of numerous artistic creations in the form of art, architecture, sculpture and literature. The sculptural marvel of Khajuraho and Konark, the much popular romantic stories of Radha and Krishna- all signify the importance of love in our life. Today with so much chaos and confusion around us, love is the only pill-for-all-ill. Most of the world’s problems will be solved easily, if we start loving our country, our fellow being, our nature and our own self.
When a person loves his work, he can create wonder. His work only inspires him to do better every day. He becomes a self-critique and evaluates his own work to find out his own fault. Such self-retrospection and determination to create masterpiece makes him legendary and memorable. In this issue we have published two such inspiring projects by fabulous architects who have created their own niche in this field.
The creative genius Ar. Minaketan Pati and his team from Pyramid 99 Architects believe in cost effective, energy efficient, eco-sensitive and aesthetically modern design which is responsive to the needs of the clients and enriching the lives of people and community it serves. Based on the theme, they have designed the NOCCi Business Park at Bampada, Balasore.
God gifted Ar. D.K. Parida, is pioneer of simple, functional and visually appealing design. His comprehensive understanding of the project’s objective is incomparable when it comes to the designing of student boarding at Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar.
