American football coach Vincent Lombardi once rightly said “Winning means you’re willing to go longer, work harder, and give more than anyone else.” The architects and designers of our nation continue to prove that they are always ready to give more and achieve greater heights with every project that they design. It was a great pleasure for us to host the 7th edition of GLITZ DESIGN HONOUR-2022 for Creative Excellence in architecture and interiors- celebrating designs- at the national capital New Delhi on 11th November 2022. The competition successfully led to recognise and accolade utmost level of creativity and contextual practices, while incorporating innovative and inspiring practices in the field of architecture and interior design. It was quite encouraging to receive hundreds of entries this year from across the country. Among the TOP 50 entries that were nominated as finalists, 13 entries bagged the Design Honour Winner and Honourable Mention Awards under respective category; you can refer and enjoy the winning projects featured in this issue. I offer my hearty congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all the participants. The release of our 9th Anniversary special November 2022 issue was a highlight of the Design Honour show, along with the giving away of the Lifetime Achievement Honour for this year to Prof. Charanjit Singh Shah for setting a golden legacy in the fraternity. Another milestone moment that GLITZ achieved was entering the realm of architectural publication with the release of legendary architect Dulal Mukherjee’s ‘Bridging Lines & Roots’, a compilation of hand-drawn sketches of all of his projects. I am also excited to introduce and call entries for our next venture that is scheduled for the upcoming International Women’s Day - GLITZ TEJOMAYA Award for Women in Design 2023- which is an attempt to celebrate the success of women in the field of design.
